At the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd, the exchange among academics and (further) qualifications for researchers are supported by the Centre for Research Practice.

The Centre for Research Practice offers the following:

• In relation to topics such as the German Research Foundation (DFG), academic career planning, funding and support options for junior academics, funding pools and applications for third-party funding
   

Research forum

• Events relating to aspects of research, especially research methods, and featuring (internal or external) experts
   

Workshops

• Various topics addressing the research process, methodological skills, and research and academic practice
   

Research colloquium

• Opportunity for an interdisciplinary exchange on topics such as research projects, postdoctorate projects, dissertation projects, theoretical research approaches and methods, the results of a research semester or a presentation for an academic conference
