Ombudspersons
According to Section 38 para. 4 sentence 2 of the State Higher Education Act (LHG) of Baden-Württemberg, all higher education institutions that are entitled to award doctorates are obliged to provide ombudspersons for doctoral students and their supervisors. The ombudsperson is a neutral authority, providing mediation and consultation in cases of dispute or conflict arising in the course of work on the dissertation text.
