Im Forschungsprojekt EmoPhy – Emotionen und Leistung im Physikunterricht: Kontextorientierung in der Elektrizitätslehre wird untersucht, welchen Einfluss eine Kontextorientierung auf die akademische Leistung sowie die Lern- und Leistungsemotionen von Schülerinnen und Schülern hat. Dabei wird geprüft, inwiefern diese Zusammenhänge durch die kognitive Belastung und Kontroll-Wert-Kognitionen vermittelt werden. Darüber hinaus wird untersucht, wie sich unterschiedliche Mikrokontexte innerhalb einer Unterrichtsreihe auswirken. Dazu werden Schülerinnen und Schüler der Jahrgangsstufen 7 und 8 über eine Unterrichtsreihe zur Elektrizitätslehre hinweg begleitet und wiederholt zu ihrem Erleben im Unterricht befragt.
